Matted Coats Policy
Severely matted coats are not de-matted due to the potential for pain and skin damage. If matting is extensive, a full shave-down is the most humane and comfortable solution, allowing for healthy coat regrowth. This process may require additional time and incur higher total grooming cost, depending on the breed and matting severity. I’m always happy to provide preventative coat-care advice to help avoid future matting between appointments.
For the safety and sanitation of the grooming environment, all pets are required to be on a current, veterinarian-recommended monthly flea and tick prevention program.
Flea & Tick Policy
If a pet is found to have fleas upon arrival, the grooming appointment will be cancelled, and the full breed base rate will be applied to cover travel and associated costs. ($110/$125)
If fleas are discovered during the grooming session, the grooming will be immediately stopped and the full base rate will be charged, plus any additional applicable time rate past the first hour of grooming if the session exceeds one hour.
This policy is strictly enforced to protect all clients and prevent the potential for parasite transmission within the facility.
Cancellation Policy
Strict 24-Hour Cancellation Requirement
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. A few reminders are sent as a courtesy before your scheduled visit.
- No Shows or same-day cancellations: The applicable breed groom base price will be charged ($110/$125)
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice: 50% of the groom price will be charged.
Weight Limit
For safety reasons and insurance compliance, I can groom dogs weighing up to 55 lbs only. As a solo owner-operator, I personally handle every pet, ensuring gentle care and a stress-free grooming experience. Please note that pet parents are not permitted inside the grooming van during service.
How to Cancel or Reschedule
If you need to make changes to your appointment, please text (615) 988-0304 immediately. Mobile grooming routes are pre-planned, and last-minute cancellations can create scheduling gaps. Due to high demand, same-week rescheduling may not be possible.
Soiling Accidents Policy
To keep your dog comfortable and the grooming van sanitary, please ensure your pet has relieved themselves before my arrival. Avoid feeding or giving water within 4 hours before the appointment.
- Cleaning fee: $10–$20 for accidents inside the van.
- Re-bathing fee: $30 if the dog soils itself and requires another bath.

Inclement Weather Policy
I groom rain or shine except during extreme weather (snow, ice, or unsafe driving conditions). You’ll receive prompt notification if a cancellation becomes necessary. The safety of both the groomer and your pet is always the top priority. Please ensure your driveway and access area are clear and safe for service.
2-Hour Arrival Window
Because mobile grooming depends on variables such as traffic and pet behavior, I operate within a 2-hour arrival window around your scheduled time. You’ll receive a text alert 20–30 minutes prior to arrival. Note that later appointments may conclude in early evening hours.
Parking Requirements
My mobile grooming van is approximately 20 feet long and requires at least 12 feet of vertical clearance. A flat, accessible parking area is essential for operation. Please note the following:
- No parking garages or steep driveways.
- Turnaround space is required for driveways.
- Keep trees and obstacles clear of access areas.
- Notify me in advance if parking is limited, such as at condos or busy streets.
If safe and level parking cannot be provided, service cannot be rendered for safety and liability reasons.
