Express Mobile Pet Grooming now offers a standalone mobile dog nail trimming service for pet owners who only need their dogs’ nails professionally trimmed. This convenient at-home service eliminates the stress of transporting your dog to a grooming salon while providing safe, professional nail trimming by a certified groomer with over 35 years of experience. Every appointment is performed one-on-one using professional equipment from my fully equipped mobile grooming salon, proudly serving Dickson, Burns, White Bluff, Charlotte, Cumberland Furnace, Bon Aqua, Fairview, Kingston Springs, Bellevue, Franklin, West Nashville, and surrounding Middle Tennessee communities.
Nail Trimming Pricing
The flat-rate service fee is $125 and includes nail trimming for up to 2 dogs during the same visit at the same address. This service offers excellent value for households with multiple dogs, but it is available regardless of the number of dogs you own. Whether you have one, two, or three dogs, the base service fee remains $125. Each additional dog beyond the first two is $30.
As with all mobile services, any applicable out-of-area travel fee will apply for locations outside my regular service area, as outlined on the Services page.
Important Service Information
For everyone’s safety, dogs must be reasonably cooperative during nail trimming. While I use gentle, patient handling techniques developed through more than 35 years of professional grooming, dogs that become aggressive or struggle excessively may not be able to be safely serviced. My first priority is preventing injury to your dog, the owner, and myself.
Because my mobile grooming salon is designed for dogs weighing up to 55 pounds, larger dogs are generally not brought into the van for standalone nail trimming appointments. Instead, nail trims for dogs over 55 pounds will typically be performed inside your home or outdoors on a safe, level surface, such as your lawn, with the owner’s assistance if needed. This allows the service to be completed as safely and comfortably as possible for everyone involved.

Why is payment required in advance?
Because mobile nail trimming requires travel to your home, standalone nail trimming appointments must be paid in full when booking. Since some dogs cannot be safely trimmed due to aggression or excessive struggling, prepayment ensures I am compensated for my travel time, fuel, scheduled appointment, and professional evaluation, even if the service cannot be completed safely.
What happens if my dog’s nails cannot be trimmed?
If I arrive and determine that your dog’s nails cannot be safely trimmed because of aggression, biting, excessive struggling, or other safety concerns, the appointment will be discontinued. The $125 base service fee is non-refundable, as it covers the reserved appointment, travel time, fuel, and professional assessment.
Can you trim nails on dogs over 55 pounds?
